Blocked Verizon BB 9650 Network
 

Trying to unlock Verizon BB 9650 in Nigeria where there is no verizon network coverage and found out that I have a blocked network which does not allow me now to unlock the smart phone.
What do will I do.

your network (what is it, MTN?) is blocked in what way?

I live and work in Nigeria, recently I asked my cousin to buy a bb 9650 for me to unlock and use here in Nigeria. The phone was delivered with a SIM installed and I tried to unlock it and got the phone network blocked.
Every effort made to open MEP to input the unlock code proved abortive. what do you suggest i do to unlock the phone.

well i just recently got the blackberry 9650 also and now i have the same problem but i only managed to get as far as bringing up the status screen but i cannot get the other screen to enter the unlock code

the code i use is: hold the caps button while(aA) while pressing mepd

if you get any further please let me know

You don't need to hold the caps button. Just type mepd
