Default After 10 wrong password, White Screen

Please Login to Remove!

I did the 10 wrong passwords on my Alltel Blackberry 7250 to Set it back to Factory Defaults, and now the screen displays 507. I can't get anything to reload on it.

Can someone help me?

507 = no software on the handheld. Congratulations.
Download the latest software from the Alltel web site. Execute the download program.
Locate and delete "Vendor.XML" on the C: drive of your PC.
Start Desktop Manager. Applications Loader should reload the OS.

Well, alright, that was easy enough. I am loading it now. I called Alltel, and they said I wasn't allowed to do that. Alltel's Blackberry support sucks. Everything else has been great. Thank you.

NJ, are you with Alltel.

Nope. Don't even know where they are. I have BBs with T-Mobile and Verizon.

Ok. They are all the same then? I really appreciate you NJ. You have answered all of my questions.

Nope. I have an 8700c on T-Mobile and a 7130e from Verizon (mostly to show people at work as an example).

I think NJ is a TMo or Cingular subscriber, Alltel may be week in the BB support are as their one of the newer carriers deploying BB's to clients. No excuse but could be a leaning curve on their support end... Follow NJ's instructions for the 507 error and you should up and running ion no time.

One last thing. How long after I install the OS does that hour glass spin. It's been spinning for a few minutes now.

Sorry, I am very impatient. You work for T-Mobile or Verizon?

Nope. I am just a customer. And a long time BB customer.
