How many voice notes can you keep on your phone? And if you can't hear one is it because the person recorded it wrong or what?

The limit is the memory. If you can hear all but one then I would suggest it was recorded wrong or poorly.

If you will be taking many voice notes I would get a MicroSD card, of course your 9550 should have come with a 16 GB card, I believe so you should be good there.

If it was recorded incorrectly or can not understand someone, most you can do is turn the volume up when playing it. Unless you have software that lets you edit audio, but I do not if they would read .amr files which is the format BlackBerry saves voice notes in.
