Default BlackBerry ID

Please Login to Remove!

Created a BlackBerry ID, and now I can't use BlackBerry apps. I've tried clicking the link in the email which was sent that said 'if you didn't install this then click here to remove it' (it's the only way I could think of to get rid of BlackBerry ID) but it hasn't removed it. Even tried deleting everything off my handset but it's still there.

When I try to log into BlackBerry ID to install an app, it comes up with error code 30601.

Please help me get rid of this stupid BlackBerry ID thing!!!

At my wits end

unless you gave the wrong error number Rim reports this as not having a Data plan.
it is possible the service books are not properly loaded.

KB19846-"A data plan is required to use this feature" error message is displayed when accessing BlackBerry App World

And make sure your screen name is just letters and numbers. Seems the new security package doesn't like special characters, especially the @ symbol.

It doesn't ask for a screen name, it asks for an email address

Ah. I read in another post that the @ was the problem but this was right after the update. They must have fixed it then.

I'm getting the same error message when I try to log in to myappworld. I have an unlocked 9700 from Tmobile using it on ATT. Does anyone know what the remedy for this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. Keeps on giving a error message. Even when I'm asked the security question. Don't know what to do.
