I use Exchange server 2007 for Outlook. I use exchange sync for the Blackberry. I have 2 issues. First, when a user receives and email in Outlook and then the Blackberry device. The email will show as read in Outlook. It seems once the email show on the Blackberry it turns to “read” in Outlook. Please help.

Secondly, I have a user that wishes to overwrite their Outlook calendar with their Blackberry calendar, it won’t overwrite. I have set the desktop manager to overwrite Outlook, as well as sync between both. No luck.

If I read an email on my BB then it also marks it as read on my outlook - are you sure you're not 'reading' it on the BB 1st? - maybe send couple dummy 'new' emails and look on your outlook 1st - likewise if you read them in your outlook it should mark them read on your BB

I dont know but maybe there's a setting on the bb that marks email sent if you just move your cursor over them for couple seconds (not open them) like it does on Windows Mail / Outlook Express

I am fairly certain it is not being read, unintentionally on the Bberry first. I am unaware of any auto-preview type options on the bberry interface.
