Hi, all.
I was using Beyond 411 today and found that it was returning results NOT in distance order, and including somewhat-related (but NOT what I asked for) results.

In particular, I was searching to see what is the nearest fry's Electronics to my location.
Beyond 411 returned:
Frys 30 miles away (def not the closest)
Micro center
Best buy
and only then the 2 nearest Fry's. In that order. And no distance info.

Has Beyond 411 gone over to the (advertising revenue) dark side? Giving results based on who pays the most? Hopefully a setting issue on my part...

Interesting. I'm getting responses when I search, but not like the results of beyond411 of old.... Thanks for the info.

Take a look at Poynt. It's free. And does sort results by distance from you.
