Default When I connect to BES I cannot connect to certain websites....

Please Login to Remove!

I understand that my 3rd party apps will not work when I connect to BES but when I try typing in a web address such as CNN - I get the following error message - "Unable to connect to the selected mobile data service, please try again later. If problem persists, please contact your Admin."

The phone was working just fine prior to my connection to my company's BES. I contacted my BES admin at work and he said they were no restrictions in place on the BES. I haven't heard of anyone else at my work having the same issue.

What am I missing here?

Sounds like a BES issue.
Ask your BES admin to check the status of the MDS-CS service. It might need to be bounced.
Or perhaps they have intentionally shut it down.
