Default Completely wipe Nextel BB7520

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All,

Is there some magic sequence of keys or actions that can be performed on the Nextel BB 7520 to wipe all data, settings, etc. and return it to factory default settings. I need to do this WITHOUT the benefit of a BES to do the "wipe handheld" function.

Thanks

I believe that you can find this under "OPTIONS" then "SECURITY" once in the Security Menu, click the wheel and you should see the option to "WIPE HANDHELD"

Keep in mind that if there's a policy on it, these procedures won't get rid of it.

You can try typing in the wrong password 10 times on the security screen in options. That did it for a BB we needed to reset to default settings. If the password is not enabled try enabling it then type the wrong password.
