Need some help here.

I have a backup of my old blackberry curve, Now I have purchased a Blackberry bold 9700 and have received some sms on the the new phone. I need to restore the messages from my old phone backup.

I have tried it using desktop manager, but it is overwriting my existing smses. I want to merge my old and new sms.

any ideas on how to get to do it.
