My PC does not recognize my BB 8520, before I did, for a while I stop and can not find the solution ... SD memory insert it in another phone and the pc reads it, the problem is on my blackberry. The PC shows that you can not recognize the USB device, I have Desktop Manager 5.0. I can do?

Does Desktop Manager see your device?

Are you plugged into a real USB port, not a hub?

Have you tried a different cable or even a different PC?

Are you plugged directly into the PC or are you using a HUB? BBs do not like HUBSs.

Generally deleting DM and doing a clean install will fix the problem.

Unhappy same problem

I have blackberry software installed on my work and home computer. For some flipp'n reason, my work computer does not recognize my phone. I have tried the same cable in EVERY USB port (all 6 USB 2.0) on my work computer and BB Desktop tells me to check the connection. It is not seen.

ALTHOUGH, Windows see the phone and adds it as a drive letter (sd card in phone).

My home computer running THE SAME version of BB Desktop sees the phone just fine USING the same cable.

I have uninstalled, deleted registry entries, and reinstalled...same frustrating result. I will add it to my list of why I am SICK of my blackberry.

Maybe your IT staff has it blocked?

Thanks for the idea, but we have no IT... Stand alone machine. It was working just fine for quite some time. I can not think of anything that had/has changed with any setup.
