Default Changing SIM on a BB 9700

As the headline states:

My Q is this,

I got my first BB ever yesterday, i bought it simfree over the counter. I already had a Telenor (swedish carrier) subscription.
And now to make it all work i had to add a BIS add-on to my subscription.

Anyways, my question is, if i wanna have this simcard in another phone, can i buy a prepaid card (from the same carrier) and put it in the BB phone and still have the same "usability", with the maildelivery etc...
I will still offcourse still have the BIS on my subscription on the 1st simcard (which is gonna be in my nokia phone)

So in a short version, is the BIS "physically" tied to my 1st simcard, or is it just for billing purposes the BIS service is added to the subscription ?

thx

No, its tied to your sim card, in turn tied to your BB.

With a SIM card in the BB, without BIS on it, BIs won't work.

It needs to remain that 1st SIM card in the BB.

Alright. thx

But so in general, its impossible for people to have pre-paid cards with BIS
Because (atleast in sweden) 90% of all add-ons to your carrier plans only exist for use with subscriptions, not for pre-paids.

No, there are a few UK carriers offering BIS on a PAYG (pay as you go [prepaid]) basis. And a few [very few] other carriers across the world.
Its still tied to that sim card.

Its about what the carrier wants to offer. Alot of carriers just don't want to offer that kind of add-on subscription to a pre-paid sim card.

Pre-paid is cheaper. Cheaper = less money = not something the carriers want.
