Default Synchronising e mail : Outlook with Bold 2

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all , I have received my first blackberry and need advice on setting it up and clarification on what it can and cannot do

I want to set up the e mail to synchronise, i run Windows 7 on a notebook , so no exchange server of anything, e mail is just hosted on a pop up server and sent to my outlook when I log on. Is it possible to synchronise and how. I basically would want e mail to be sent to my blackberry if notebook is shut down or both not sure how it works, if i view it and or respond I would like it to update this to my notebook vice a versa to blackberry, when I switch it on basically marking items as read and updating sent items and so on ...

Please help, I have read articles but they are not clear ....

Also please make responses idiot proof , I have limited experience in this

Assuming that ou have a BB data plan and use BIS, email is pushed from your ISP servers about every 15 minutes. Your PC does not have to be on. To do what you want to do requires BES or a hosted BES solution.

You need to be sure that for each account you have, your mark "Leave mail on Server" in your PC's email client set up.

Please see the FAQfor more information.

Reconcile will delete from the email server but if mail has already been downloaded to your PC email client, then it won't show as read or deleted.

Yahoo, I think has a deal to sync email. Gmail will also but it doesn't sync very quickly. Don't use either so I can't comment on them.
