Unhappy Supplementary Service Error: System Failure

Please Login to Remove!

Just had to wipe my 9000 Bold clean after a hard error 523. Upgraded my desktop manager and OS to the latest allowed by AT&T. (What a royal PITA that was!)

Anyway, now I occasionally get "Supplementary Service Error: System Failure" (see attached screen shot). I can't pinpoint the circumstances, though I believe it happens only when I'm connected to the PC via USB. I'll click the trackball once or twice to clear the message, and all appears ok after that.

What's it mean, and should I: a) panic, B) take it in for repair, or 3) chuck it out the car window at 70mph, or iv) follow someone's advice on this forum on how to easily correct the problem.

Thanks in advance!

Don't know, but searched: blackberry Supplementary Service Error: System Failure - Bing

Possible answers appear to boil down to (a) hardware problem, or (b) software glitch of some sort fixed by wiping and reinstalling the OS.

If the device is under warranty, you ought to call the seller's customer service.
