Default How to veiw my BB sms's on my PC?

Hi how do I get to see my SMS messages on to my PC, I need this function so I can translate Chinese into English (using Google etc) Tried Berry extract but it does not seem to work on Chinese characters.

good idea but in NZ it is a prohibitive cost wise to email or use internet from your phone (nz cell providers are ripping us off big time) so a more elegant solution using a usb process is better for me.

Default view sms messages on computer

Use Blackberry Desktop Software to backup your BB
download magicberry [download.cnet.com/MagicBerry-Blackberry-IPD-Editor-and-Converter/3000-10743_4-10962130.html]

Install and launch magicberry and browse to the download folder and you can read all your sms messages.

Easiest way to do this is download a backup application. If you were to download mIQ Live you can view all your texts from the web, as well as respond from there... Pretty convenient!

Thanks, got some programs that allow me to get the sms(and other data) out but all I get is english character set info instead of the Chinese characters that appear on my BB screen??? any one got any ideas as to how I can get the chineses character set that I see to on my BB to actually get properly exported??
