Newbie to the forum here, but not to the BB.

I have a 7750 that has all of a sudden started performing a spontaneous initialization randomly throughout the day. It's getting very annoying as this takes anywhere from 4 to 8 minutes to initialize.

I have hard booted the BB. I have looked at downloading the latest BB OS, but my version is even NEWER than the one on Verizons website based on version numbers.

Any other thoughts to get this to stop would be very much appreciated!!

I have had that problem. Check to make sure all the battery connectors are straight; if one is crooked it can cause it to reboot.

If that doesn't fix it, you may have to replace the unit.

Final straw would be to launch the application loader and enter the password incorrectly 10 times which will wipe the unit and put it in a 507 state.

Then reload the OS and see if it crashes.

I've seen this and I just reloaded the OS. If you continue seeing this problem, I suggest looking into a new device.
