Yesterday I accidentally hit some buttons on my device, and then I saw somehting on the screen about Enterprise Activation. I now have a new icon on my home screen for Enterprise Activation, but I can't seem to figure out how to delete it. I don't even know what it means, so I can't imagine I'd ever need it.

while highlighting the icon hold alt and then click the trackwheel. You will see a pop up box that will give you the option of hiding the icon, you cannot delete this icon.

Mr Pink is correct, it actually has always been there, it was just hidden and you can't delete it. It is only used for Activation on a BES.
