Default Unfixable Error - Please Help

Hi,

I have the 9520 Storm 2 and after uninstalling some 3rd Party apps the phone rebooted, gets to verifying security software, then immediately goes to a white screen with App Error 523 (Reset). This is just goes on in a loop. I cannot boot to the O/S at all. I cannot connect the phone to Desktop Manager either, it just sits at connecting. I have tried to reconnect it during the booting of the device but it just won't connect it. I have no way of getting access to the O/S .

It also won't let me connect it to the laptop via USB to access it via explorer.

Anyone??

Most likely something to do with one of those third party apps. The search feature is your friend.

Ok, I have now managed to get access to the device via USB cable and can browse the directories etc.. but unable to get access to it via DM. What files could I copy over via explorer that hold the contacts and my sms or can this only be done via DM?

Only DM for contacts, sms, email, calendar. Do you do regular backups? Did you look at the links provided above?

1. Take the battery out and put it back in after 30 seconds or so

2. While the device is rebooting (or while the hourglass is still spinning), plug it into the PC

4. Worst-case is when you need to wipe the device using JL_Cmder. Follow the instructions here: How do I wipe the BlackBerry using Jl Cmder?
