I'm using my 8900 Torch while roaming, and I'd like to know if it's possible to turn off all data services EXCEPT BB Messenger? (and preferably allow email to function only on wifi)?

I use email a lot and don't want to get hit with massive data charges. Is there even maybe an app that manages this?

You can turn data services off, but that's all data services, including wi-fi.
There's no way to pick and choose which data services you want to use.
You could turn off the mobile network and enable wi-fi and emails and BBM will use wi-fi, but not helpful when you need the phone function or aren't near a wi-fi hotspot.
