Default Please help with my Address Book Restore Problems

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there. Could someone please help?

My Goal: to switch my address book, bbm contacts, etc. from one Blackberry 8830 World Edition ("BB1") to another 8830 World Edition ("BB2")

What I Did: I backed up BB1 before I switched phones. The backup appeared to be successful. I then ran the Restore and Advanced Restore options for BB2 using the Blackberry Desktop Manager (I originally was using version 4.5 of the desktop manager, but upgraded to 6.0 and the problem persisted.)

The Problem: Despite the desktop manager claiming the "Restore" on to BB2 was successful, my address book, bbm contacts and a few other types of information have not appeared on BB2. (However, my email messages and text messages have successfully been transferred)

My Question: Is there anything I can do to transfer my address book and bbm information? What am I doing wrong? Is there anything I can do?

Thank you very much!

In desktop manager, look at the "Switch Device Wizard".
