Default Problem registering Device with Service Provider.

Dear All,

I am new to Blackberry & the Forum so pls. forgive me for any obvious questions.

I purchased a Factory unlocked Blackberry Torch 9800 from ECity Dubai. I have activated the Global Unlimited Package on my SIM (Etisalat). But I am unable to create an Account on the etisalat BB website. It says that the device not registered. When I tried to Register using the Host Routing Table, it says that the message is queued & will be sent when data coverage is available.

Pls. suggest a way & help me get started with my BB asap.

It sounds to me as though your SIM has not been completely provisioned yet. Services such as BlackBerry data can take up to 48 hours to activate after provisioning on the SIM.

How long ago did you purchase the device?
