Default Transfer from Treo 680 to Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

I would like to transfer my contacts, info etc. from Treo 680 to Blackberry Bold. I have a few problems though:

1.) I have put a few different phone numbers in one phone entry - will all of them transfer?

2.) Do all the "customs" in the Treo 680 transfer to Blackberry?

3.) I have very long "notes" sections as well. Do these transfer?

Are there any fields which DON'T get transferred from the Treo to the Blackberry, that I should be aware of? And what is the best way of transferring?

I hope someone can help me!

Thank you

1. They should all transfer over, as long as you don't copy the contacts to your SIM card as a means of transfer. Using the SIM card only allows for a single email address and a single phone number.

2. Customs are hit-or-miss.

3. Notes should transfer over without issue.

Best method is either the BlackBerry Desktop Manager's "Switch Devices" wizard or using Outlook. I prefer Outlook because I can see and edit each contact in Outlook before syncing them all onto my BlackBerry. This is especially good if you have a lot of custom fields to deal with.
