Please Login to Remove!

I bought a used 8830 world sprint phone and I charged it for 3 hours and it wont power up. It gives me 4 flashing lights on the L E D and that is i does somone know what that is>

It indicates the OS is missing. Try using JL_cmdr to see if the PC can see it. If not an OS reload may be required unles sthe BB is defective.

JL is used to do many things including "cleaning" the BB so it can be reloaded. does it reload the OS, No but the instructions on the forum page do offer a lot of details for the new user to assist in the reload. The blinking LED indicates the OS is either corrupted or completly missing. In either case if the PC with JL loaded cannot see the BB then more may be wrong including a defective BB. Most experienced users generally do not ask these questions and my effort is not to attempt to confuse with more instructions.
I have used JL to do the "cleaning" then reload many times. Right or wrong it does help.
