Default 9330 Music player questions

I like to listen to downloaded MP3 radio shows on my new Curve 3G, the problem I am having is that if I stop it in the middle of a file and some time passes and I go back to it, it is no longer running and I have to guess where I was at to start listening to it again where I left off. Is there a way to book mark the spot or is there a better MP3 player out there that would be better suited to my needs? All I need is to be able to return to where I left off, the app does't have to be running the way this one apparently does.

I notice that there is a audiobook folder in the BB file structure, surely an audiobook program would have a way to book mark a location.

Any ideas or suggestions will be most appreicated!

Thanks,

Issue has been logged as a Feature Enhancement for consideration to add functionality to resume music files in future versions of the BlackBerry smartphone.

Workaround

Pause playback of the audiobook , music or podcast, and then instead of closing down the Music media application, hold down the Menu key until the Application Switcher comes up, and then select the Home screen to open other applications. Do not open any other media files, as the paused state of the file will be lost.

Thanks I will give that a try, are there any 3rd party Media players that work better? I assume that some of the podcast players would do but really don't need that functionality.

Regards,
