Hi

If I put the phone on standby or lock the keypad, or indeed if I just leave the phone on, the screen goes blank after a few seconds as I expect it to. However, after 10/15 seconds, the screen comes back on again by itself. Then, it goes off.....then it comes back on, then off, and so on...

Clearly this isn't doing my battery life any good!

Does anyone know how to fix this, so the screen goes blank then stays blank until I press a button?

Something (probably app related) is waking it. Check to see if you have any appointment reminders or alarms set. Also verify 3rd party apps for such things.

Not sure what was causing it. Anyway, I switched off and took battery out, then restarted and all seems fine. A simple solution!
