I paid online earlier, using my debit card for an application for my Blackberry Curve from ShopCrackBerry.com

However, it said I would receive the file after this but instead I was then also asked for further 'documents' to prove who I was, included my birth cert, to be posted or faxed over. I became very suspicious.

I read somewhere on here that it is meant to be reliable site but I doubt this now. I'm told I won't be sent my file download until I provide documents to their office.

Can anyone please help?

It's a very difficult site to understand, the one you just suggested. I will leave a message there though, too. Hope others might get back on this one too though.

NJBlackBerry wasn't suggesting a site; he was saying you need to take up your issue at the site you were dealing with, and/or with the original vendor/developer of the app. No one here can do anything.

But definitely don't send anything else. And do what you can on your end to stop payment or whatever. I personally don't know what your options are with debit cards; I've avoided using one myself.

Debit cards do not have a stop payment option. some banks do allow a refund if you can determint to their satisfaction it was fraud.
