So, I have a BB Curve and it does not have a flash, which I dislike. Oddly enough I did not know or notice this until after my 30 days was up. Sooo, I'm looking to possibly getting a BB Bold 9650 or 9780. I like the reviews I am reading and I see that it has a flash camera.

Can anyone maybe compare the two; Curve and Bold. I'm getting the idea that both are basically the same phone.

Also, I'm more interested in knowing where I can go to find the cheapest BB Bold. Seeing as I am only about 6 months into a 2 year agreement, I'm pretty sure I am going to have to buy my phone at normal cost. :( Does anyone know if Verizon does trade in's? Will I get a discount if I give them my Curve?

The 9780 won't work on verizon.

Any other suggestions?

If you're gonna stick with verizon go to the verizon store and look at what they have.

Also, you can look at the blackberry.com website and filter by carrier.

Get the Bold 9650.

Verizon does have a "trade in" program, but you won't likely get very much for your phone.

Depending on how long you had the Curve, Verizon may do an upgrade.

Thanks Motorcycle Mama. I went thru the steps of the trade-in program and found that my phone is only worth $32. It's not even 5 months old yet!

I know what phones Verizon has to offer and I know that I want a Bold. What I am looking for is the cheapest place to buy one or if anyone knows if Verizon does anything else for you other than making you buy a new phone at like $400?

Verizon isn't going to "do anything for you". You entered into a contract and will need to fulfill the terms of that contract. They subsidized the price of the phone that you decided to purchased.

Your options are 1) pay Verizon full price for the new device, 2) purchase a used device from other source, or 3) live with the device you have now.
