Default Slow receipt of emails

Please Login to Remove!

I have used my Blackberry for 3 years now. Messages have always arrived ahead of or just after receipt on my laptop. They are suddenly arriving up to an hour after arriving on the laptop. Server is BT Internet. Anyone have the same problem or a solution please?

Not sure about your carrier but if the BB is in a bad data area it may be that it has to wait for a better connection.
Do you notice the connection indication.
Example
gsm to edge to EDGE to 3G as an example. Only EDGE and 3G will allow data.

Did you call your provider? maybe they can help.

Thank you for this but the BB is in an excellent recepetion area--the same one as for the last 3 years, where there has been no problem. This is something new. It is hard to get through to the help desk of BT--does anyone have an effective telephone number for them or another route--I was held in queues for 2 hours yesterday and finally gave up!

Not to sure but if you go into your BIS account and delete the email from the BIS and re-add it, this should reset the Poll time it takes, I know that with some emails and address that with the new BIS, it has messed up and set it to pool every 6 hours. this has been a call driver for me at my work., hope this helps
