Unhappy BB 9700 Device Upgrade

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have installed BB Desktop Software and trying to upgrade my Device using the software and it takes back up completely and then moves on to downloading the components - which are shown as 490 on the whole.

It downloaded up to 409/490 within few minutes and then stuck on that screen for 45 odd minutes and throws error that, my internet connection is bad. And, my connection is not bad. I am downloading so many other things in the background. Any suggestions.

I have attached a screenshot for my version and available version. If you need a screenshot of the error, I can get that as well. Do let me know, if any help I can be awarded with :(

Much Appreciated!

download the handheld file to your PC first to avoid any internet issues. Once on the PC you should be able to upgrade easier.
DM will use the local file if available. You may need to point to it on your PC.
Depending on the version of your DM , it may need to be internet connected to function.

See the yellow sticky at the top of the 9700 section. The instructions are also there. Make sure that you follow them exactly and be patient. It can take an hour or longer.
