Unhappy Can't delete emails from handheld

Please Login to Remove!
I have my BB bold 9700 for about a month now.

Since a week i can't delete my emails from my blackberry anymore.
I can delete them from my gmail account but they are still showing on my handheld.

Pls help me out, it's so annoying.

What happens when you try to delete emails on the BB?
Does it give an error?
Does it not give the delete option?
Have you tried a battery pull?

Ditto. Exactly what are you doing, and try a battery pull.

Also, someone was complaining about this sort of things just yesterday. The member changed the email settings from delete on handheld and mailbox to delete on handheld and report it fixed his/her problem. I don't think it should make a difference, but for giggles try it if the battery pull doesn't resolve the problem.

It does give the delete option and when i press delete, nothing happens.

Already tried this:
- The member changed the email settings from delete on handheld and mailbox to delete on handheld and report it fixed his/her problem.

- Battery pull

Doesn't work.

Someone from the IT desk at work told me I had to delete the email application.. that sounds a bit weird tho..

I'm having a similar problem, previously I had no problem now when I delete one it locks up the phone for a short period then in my list of emails the envelope will be there empty, the message can not be opened and there is a gold star after the title. This seems to be happening to all since I upgraded to the present operating system. This only happens on the Gmail account, my other two accounts still delete normally.

battery pull cleared problem, I was unable to pull earlier due to family emergency but once rebooted problem was gone.
