At the top of my screen where new message icons appear, there is now an icon that looks like a casset tape, does anyone know what this icon represents?

For you youngsters, back in the dark ages voice mail used something called an "answering machine", a machine which almost invariably used some sort of cassette or micro-cassette to record messages. The cassettes are long gone but the icon lives on, much as we still "dial" phone numbers.

True -- and too bad even Apple did not come up with some new cool/weird looking icon
