i recently deleted face book from the download screen and by going into options > advanced>applications and deleting it from there. now i just went into my downloads and i get an !. it does not let me delete the face book logo.

Have you tried to pull the battery for 30 seconds and see if the ! is still there?

Battery Pull usually clears up this issue.

Also, Facebook is pushed onto your BB by your carrier. It's controlled through a service book IIRC. If you delete it there is a good chance it will simply appear again.
