Please Login to Remove!

hello i have recently got a new blackberry bold 9000. i have no apps on there that i have downloaded. i had face book i deleted that. i have 35mb application memory and 1gb of internal memory. out of all this i have 859mb left. the application memory is really small. i can only download around 6 apps then have to delete them all because of low application memory. I have now deleted all apps i have and had and i am back with 35mb. there is an update from blackberry for core applications that takes up 42mb. i dont have enough. how can this be. application memory not enough on the phone that i cant install an update???!!! what a fail by blackberry? what shall i do.
