Well im a bit 'FRUSTATED' tbh with you guys.

Im currently in the process of downloading modules as part of the OS update for my BLACKBERRY CURVE 8900.

The answer im looking for, is why it's taking forever to download the modules???
The bar increases but only a little bit at a time, in the space of 40 minutes.

I'd like to know if anyone can tell me as to why this is?
I have been sat here waiting for the past 3 hours

Much appreciated.

Not sure if anyone here can help; this forum is not associated with any carrier or with Research in Motion.

You do realize this forum has no connection with RIM and were all volunteers. Ok so now on to the question. It can take considerable time depending on the method you are using. The fastest is to download the new OS to the PC and let the DM use it rather than having to go to the internet for the update. Delays and traffic congestion can cause this and even stall the upgrade. At this point you almost have no choice but to wait. If you do dump out you may have to reload the OS from the start but next time do it from the PC.
