Hi,

I've seen quite a few topics on this matter but none with a conclusion.

I have a new 9700 on OS 5 and data works fine - BBM, internet and email. However, I cannot send/receive texts or calls. Calls go straight through to voicemail.

The mobile network is turned on and I have done several battery pulls. I have also tried switching the mobile network on and off in the connections settings.

Anyone seen anything like this before and have a solution?

Have you talked tot he carrier's tech support. Most likely a phone issue with something not set up correctly.

What were you doing just before this happened?

I have not. I am going into the store in a couple of days but was trying to get a resolution beforehand. The phone worked fine whilst I was roaming abroad but not now that I am home...

I wouldn't wait until you visit a store. Don't you have a customer service number?

I can imagine you've checked everything and done what you can do. Sounds like a network or carrier setup issue.

Yeh I have the number. 2 hours on the phone and they could not help - the recommended taking to their service center where a tech can get his hands on the phone.

Bummer. But good luck. Post an update when you get a chance.
