So, my company recently migrated from exchange with BES to the fairly new paid, google apps services. While i've been a long time bb user on bes, i cant say i completely hate google apps. My question is, I was getting 2 way, real time sync for read, sent, deleted messages as well as calender sync and contact sync. we also use use the gmail plug in for outlook for premier accounts, i also have a gmail cloud box obviously that acts as the main sync point for calender and contact sync. Mysteriously my option for wireless contact on my bb has disappeared and the box is grayed out and says not available, any thoughts as to why or is anyone using the same system??

Has your company also setup BES to be used with Google Apps?

If not then you would need to add your email via BIS and it will give you the option to setup contact and calendar sync as part of the process - however, there can be a four hour delay to sync changes back from your BB to Google etc.

looks like once the Google acct is added via the BIS you then have to go into setup icon from your blackberry and do an additional activation step from there, which then enables real time sync with contacts, calender and mail..
