He meant write more the way you just did versus your OP..... Complete sentences, no jargon, etc.

You will need a blackberry data plan to use BBM period. Not just a regular mobile data service plan, but one specific for blackberry. Then BBM will work over the mobile network and via wifi. No blackberry data plan = no BBM, not even on wifi.

Do yu know about this app called liveprofile?
Its still in the making but some say that its gonna work exactly like bbm umm liveprofile users would be able to add bbm users.

Is that true?

Don't know anything. From your description though I doubt RIM would allow it on a blackberry, at least not if it can do anything about it.

Why don't you ask the developer of LiveProfile?

As of now, today, no third party app uses BBMessenger or is able to add BBM users, as you say.

And you say it's "gonna". Doesn't that mean, "not now"?

1. Yes. BBMessenger works over WiFi. As a matter of fact ALL data works over WiFi, however BBM also requires the activation of the device on a BlackBerry Data Plan, without which, BBM won't work over WiFi.

2. MySpace?

Sorry, it doesn't say "able to add bbm users". The LiveProfile site states, very clearly
