Is there a workaround, a way to respond, use voting buttons with the blackbeerry?

voting for what?

OP probablyu means the polls on the forum......I'm doing it with 9700/5.0.0.714. if you are on a 4.X ver OS, I'd suspect that as your problem. If you are using ver 5, try browser troubleshooting techniques and do a hard reset.

Could be using voting buttons with Outlook/Exchange emails..... it's a property set on an individual email message.

Likely I assumed too much.....

Voting does work for exchange emails. I use them all the time.

I spoke with RIM and they said the "voting button" coming from Outlook/Exchange will not appear on a Blackberry.

Are you saying you were able to enable this?

I called my It group to see how they managed to get voting. The messages sent are not the standard vote strip that is normally on the top of the email. The replies are sent via a special applet not the vote strip. Aparently its something someone built . The BB has no control.
