Default Issue importing numbers from SIM

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Need help is determining wether this is feature limitation or I am doing some thing wrong.

Trying to copy SIM contacts (SIM was used with Nokia device previously) over to BB device (9000Bold) but only one of the numbers shows up in Blackberry instead of multiple numbers for the contact on SIM.

This is how the contacts were copeied over from SIM. But most of the contacts have multipls numbers and blackberry shows only One number per contact. If I create a new contact, I have ability to enter multiple numbers.

If I insert the sim to any another device (Nokia, samsung) all numbers assigned to a contact appear but not on Blackberry.

Yes. A SIM card can only hold one number per contact and so creates e.g. John (1) 01254 457864 and John (2) 07986528546

Some other phones can match them up when importing, but a blackberry can't.
You'll have to edit the contacts to get the numbers into one contact name.

Try to sync the contacts from the Nokia to your PC's WAB or Outlook, then use BB Desktop manager to sync to the Bold.
