Hi, i have been looking around in the forum to see if someone could answer me a question i have in mind: i have an iphone 3GS, with the iphone data plan but i want to have a BB in order to have the BBM, to do this i would have to change to a BB data plan, dont i? I cant use the iphone data plan on a BB to use the BBM? If not and i change to the BB data plan, would i be able to use all the functions a BB can offer, and also by switching SIMs, all the iphone's functionalities although not the Visual mail? I heard you saying that to be able to do this, i had to change some settings on my iphone (it is jailbroken), what would i have to change? And to end with, sorry for asking but by switching would i have a surprise on my bill? I live in spain and my carrier is Movistar, maybe you wont be able to answer this one haha.
I would appreciate a BIG lot if youd answer these questions to me, sorry if they are too many...

To get BBM (and other RIM related services) you need a BB data plan.

I think the BB plan would work, but I don't what you would or would not be able to do with an iPhone and a BB dataplan..

I have an iPhone plan with Rogers in Canada, 6gb of data. I switched from the 3gs to a bold. After a call to Rogers to get set up everything on the Blackberry (email, browser, bbm etc) works great with the iphone plan which, because of the 6gigs of data for a great price I'm very reluctant to lose. So, different carriers have different policies but with Rogers the Blackberry works great with an iPhone plan.
