Hi there, I am new and have read a few threads, and it looks like a lovely place

To the point, I am looking into a few Blackberries and would like some advice if possible, into which one would be best please.

The four main contenders would be as follows :

Blackberry Torch
Blackberry Bold 9780
Blackberry Storm 9500
Blackberry Storm2

Firstly Internet will be a large factor in my choice of phone, both the browser and the scrollability (if that is even a word). I really like the look of the Bold 9780, however as it is not touch screen, I am unsure over whether it will be easy to navigate? Secondly apps, which have and which don't? Not so important this time but would be a nice little addition.

Radio, I would prefer it to have good radio/music listening functions if possible.

So if you have any of these or know anything about them, would you be as kind as to help me. Thank you ever so much.

As an FYI blackberries don't have a radio chip in them. Its internet radio only.

First pick the carrier that has the service that you need. Then pick the device.

Please read through the seconds for the devices about which you are asking. Then go tot he RIM website and compare them. Finally go to a phone store and play with one and make the decision.

As for apps, visit our aftermarket section and read through that.

Apps like Pandora which stream the music to your BlackBerry. There are several out there. There is no "AM/FM" type radio receiver in a BlackBerry.

Maybe use of the SEARCH feature would help?

With all due respect Sir I actually did this but was finding it a little tough to find it. I am not so good with computers.

Ok, so i've done nearly an hours research and have realised I am very interested in the 9780 Bold. Where can I find info about apps? THank you ever so much.

The 9780 is an updated version of the 9700. Apps that run on the 9700 *should* run; the only way to find out is to either ask the developer or try it.
