Blackberry Bold 9000 White Screen

i was on blackberry messenger when the white screen came up. There was nothing on the screen just plane white. i couldn't press any buttons so i pulled out the battery, now it works, why did this happen and what did it do, preventions? was very scary lol

Could be any number of things - low memory most likely. A battery pull fixes most problems. If it happens again, pull the battery.
