A text message from 3241804F4?

That sounds more like a device PIN than a text number.
Give us a clue as to what the message said?

I got the same message on my emails. It's titled "New Upate Available" and goes on to say "Click below link to update new speech feature"

My question is who is this and why are they messaging me. I am not going to click on any link from someone I don;t know, so what is the point of sending it without identifying yourself.....if it is genuine, and you want folk to click......then say who you are???

Only thing I can suggest is you've setup somewhere to receive automatic updates from RIM about OS updates. And they are then emailing/PIN-ing depending on what information you gave.

It would be nice if either of you getting this message could answer my question above?

I am sorry but I can't give you more information as that is all that I see. I don't want to open it without knowing what it is.

I received another one last night from 324759CC - New Update

I wish I knew someone that opened them and used them or how to set it so I stop receiving them.

Thanks for the help so far!

You could tell me if it is a PIN message, SMS message, email message, etc.

You can open the message and scroll up to the top and see what the source is, without clicking on it.

Believe me, opening the message on your BlackBerry is the safest place there is to open it, BlackBerrys don't have or get viruses so there is no danger.

And of course, the exact text of the message might be nice as well.

After you gave me courage - I opened it and it is from an APP - Drive Safe> I no longer use this App so I deleted them.

Thanks for the help!
