Default Refuses to add another e-mail account on BIS

Please Login to Remove!

BlackBerry Bold 9000 refuses to add a ninth e-mail account, stating that settings and/or password are incorrect. The additional settings do not help, referring to the Outlook POP settings on the PC doesn't help, and the server is the same as on 5 of my other e-mail accounts.
On the face of it, none of my inputs are incorrect and my ISP confirms this.

The BB is up-to-date with all software.

I am an experienced BB user and this has happened once before with another account. This time I'm determined to get it working.

Any thoughts?

Carrier is Vodafone/Vodacom. The service is BlackBerry BIS.

What happens if you eliminate one of the first 8, and then try to add the ninth account that is being rejected? Perhaps your provider has set a different upper limit.

No, the same happens whether this is the no 1 or the no 10 address... I have already had 10 for a while.

Contact Vodafone and ask about it, you may have exceeded your limit which is normally set by BIS or your carrier and determines the maximum amount of email accounts you can use with one device.
