Default how come my screen goes dull quickly?

Please Login to Remove!

After a few seconds of not pressing a button the screen goes dull and takes a while to go bright again, is there a way of adjusting this?

there is normally a sensor that if covered the screen will go DIM on the 9300 I cannot remember where it is but for some reason I want to say earpiece or led light area, someone correct my if I am wrong on those 2 area's

Try this. Open the Options icon on the homescreen, then Screen/Keyboard, Backlight Brightness and Backlight Timeout.
