My 9700 battery Is only 7 months old and it barely lasts 4 hours. Depending on useage. Li-ion BB RIM Batteries last 300-500 full charge cycles. And they last much longer if charged frequently. Draining the battery to 10-15% every time will get you 300 charge cycles approximately. OEM batteries are the only way to go, however. As aftermarket ones don't last near as long and can actually explode. The exception I know of is the Seidio Batteries.
