The standard is 30 days. If your on a corporate service the admin can set any range they want including zero. Try going to the following and set it to none , save then pull the battery to reload. then go back and set it to log all. save then another battery pull. This may reset it. Wont work if set by the admin.
View call logs in a message list
1. In the phone, press the Menu key.
2. Click Options.
3. Click Call Logging.
4. Select a call log type option.
To hide call logs in a message list, select the None option.
