I understand the connection is blocked by IT policy. The application can continue to function w/o this connection.

Is there any way simply to disable/ignore the warning?

You should not attempt to circumvent your company IT Policy, especially if you value your job. For many firms, that is cause for termination.

Where did I say I want to circumvent it? I just want to ignore this specific error/warning. The application itself can decide what it wants to do without the connection.

I don't know of anything -- or rather have never seen anything -- that would suggest a way to suppress the warning while leaving everything else as is. I can imagine it would be extremely difficult to do, if not impossible, on a BlackBerry.
