Default My Macbook won't take the mini "user tools" disc...

Please Login to Remove!

The sliding tray simply won't take mini discs.

Is there any other way to get the Blackberry user tools software for Mac? Can it be downloaded anywhere?

Thanks for the help people. I'm looking forward to loving the crap out of my Torch

You can download DM from the RIM website.

Just an FYI ... those mini CD/DVD's have never worked in Mac's slot load drives - I'm unsure if a slim adapter worked. Good way to destroy the drive over time I think (warranty goodness).

From BlackBerry site
Quote:
Mac OS X v10.5.5 and above (Only 32-bit mode is supported on Mac OS X v10.6)
BlackBerry® Device Software v4.2 or higher
iTunes v7.7.1 or later
10.5.5 is Leopard right, not Snow Leopard??

Looks like you're in luck - though you "may" need an intel-based Mac.

the other BB fan forum site has a link to download version one.

Mac Tiger is OS X 10.4. Mac DM requires 10.5.5 or higher.
