If IM+ is crashing, it's possible you are having a memory bleed issue. It also depends on what OS you're running. And how many apps you have opened and running.
I would try backing up the BB first! It's essential that you have as many clean backups as you can get.
After it's backed up, I would reinstall the OS or upgrade to a newer version. Newer versions are usually more stable.
Just like a PC, the BlackBerry OS can get slow the longer you use it. I like to reload my OS every couple weeks just to freshen it up. It's much faster. Desktop Manager 6 allows you to reload your OS on top of itself or even install older versions if you like. But, I would upgrade the OS at least. You might even try 184.108.40.2064 - it's pretty good. And the official 220.127.116.110 from Vodafone Essar is pretty good too. Although, I expect a 415 official version pretty soon. The official 9650 and 9330 versions of it, thru Sprint, are awesome and the glitches have been fixed (as far as I'm able to find out - without annoying my BBM friends too much :P ) Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
