Default Error message 'reload software 552'

Hi,

I need urgent assistance please.

My Bold 9000 gives the following message when I do a battery pull, and will not let me go any further from this stage.

Please assist.

What was the last thing you did before this occurred? Did you load any new apps or themes?

I loaded an apps last night, but it has been fine since then.

I was using it this morning and it was very slow, so I did a battery pull and then put it on charge - then the error message displayed.

Please update your profile to reflect the BB model number, not the name. There are several "Bold" versions and they are different with different OS.

Most likely a corrupt file. Since the battery pull is not fixing the problem, you should wipe the device with Jl_cmdr (see the FAQ) and then reload the OS (yellow sticky at the top of the 9000 section for the OS and instructions). Good luck.

If you haven't reloaded apps or themes yet, only install what you absolutely need for right now. Test for 24 hours or so. Then add others one by one and test for a day before adding the next.
